TVAN – DESCRIPTION / WHAT’S INCLUDED
The Tvan is totally self
sufficient. It has it’s own battery to power lights,
radio/CD player, & other 12 volt appliances such as a
fridge. The battery is re-charged by solar panels
located on the roof of the Tvan.
The Queen size bed can be left made
up and under the bed is sufficient storage space for
everything you wish to take. At the foot of the bed
there is space to stow large items such as fridge and
porta-potti. However many off roaders prefer to carry
their fridges in the rear of the towing vehicle.
As you will see from the set up
photos the canvas tent section is stowed within the door
hatch, therefore does not come into contact with the
bedding. There are three ways of setting up for an
overnight stop.
1.
Super Quick, ideal if you arrive after dark &
want to go straight to bed. Lower floor, open hatch,
lock closed latch locking hinges, climb in & pull down
rear hatch.
2.
Warm summer nights. Lower floor, raise hatch,
install insect screen, leave hatch open, climb into bed
& watch the stare through the sky light.
3. Full set up. Lower floor & extend.
Place feet in position & level. Open hatch & deploy
tent. Put into position tent extension poles & install
Breakfast Bar. Fix tent to floor with elastic straps.
Roll out floor mat.
